The Royal Charter
Article I: The General Assembly
The General Assembly is a mass body of voters made up of every member in the alliance.
They gather together to vote on all possible bills and/or actions that have been proposed.
No action or bill may be performed without a passing vote in the General Assembly.
Article II: The Monarchy
The Monarchy is made up of three separate royal identities.
The Monarchy holds limited power, and is mainly used as a figurehead when making appearances for foreign relation reasons.
Only monarchs can accept membership applications.
If two ruling monarchs agree, they can veto a bill or action passed in the General Assembly.
If a ruling monarch is male, he will be given the title “Prince”.
If a ruling monarch is female, she will be given the title “Princess”.
All three monarchs serve for life terms, until they willingly step down from power.
During the event a monarch steps down from power, the General Assembly will hold a vote to decide the new monarch.
Article III: Nobles
Each ruling monarch can give the title of “Noble” to any two members they deem fit.
Nobles must swear loyalty to the monarchy before receiving their title.
The title is mainly an influential one.
However due to the fact that Nobles are sworn to serve the monarchy, they will most likely be given any task the monarchy needs completed.
In the event of a merger, Nobles will get first claims on any government positions.
Article IV: Voting
A vote for a bill or action can be brought up by any member of the “Royal Dagger Society”.
For a bill/action to be passed it must receive a 66% approval rate in the General Assembly.
Once a vote is brought up, there is 24 hour window for any member to vote.
The current approval percentage at the end of the 24 hour timeframe will be the counted percentage.
The Monarchy can veto any passed action or bill, if and only if two monarchs agree on the veto.
The General Assembly can then override the veto by rehosting a vote for the bill or action, and receiving 75% approval.
The monarchy cannot veto the same bill or action a second time.
Article V: Member Rights
1.Right to military protection upon joining the alliance, no seniority is required.
2.Right to foreign trade and tech deals.
3.Right to freedom of speech and expression of opinion.
4.Right to declare war on non-allied nations at any given time.
5.Right to leave “Royal Dagger Society”, if no debts are owed to the alliance.
6.Right to ask for economic aid in the time of crisis
7.Right to defend one’s nation if attacked.
8.Right to vote in the General Assembly.
Article VI: Alliance Policies
Rogue Policy-
If a member of “Royal Dagger Society” breaks the Royal Constitution, he may be marked as a rogue and removed from the alliance after a vote in the General Assembly.
Once marked as a rogue nation no tech deals or trade circles will be performed with said nation.
If a member applying for membership was previously marked as a rouge in another AA, a vote in the General Assembly will be held to determine if the application will be accepted or denied.
Inactivity Policy-
If a member is found three weeks inactive on Cyber Nations, their membership will be reviewed.
The Monarchy may remove any inactive member at their will.
If a removed nation becomes reactive, they will be welcomed back into
“Royal Dagger Society”.
Merger Policies-
A merger is considered to be no different from any other bill/action.
If the General Assembly approves it, it will happen.
This is true for both merging into a new alliance, or absorbing an alliance
It does not matter if the merging alliance has a protector, or is currently in a war.
Ghosting Policies-
"A ghost is any nation that shows the alliance affiliation of an alliance without being a proper member of that alliance.
“Royal Dagger Society” does not allow any unauthorized ghosting.
When asked for permission to temporarily ghost, a vote will be held in the General Assembly.
